The National Post Office of Rwanda (IPOSITA) has announced a nationwide letter writing competition designed to inspire creativity, communication, and digital literacy among students. Open to primary, secondary, and tertiary students, the competition encourages participants to craft original letters to their parents or loved ones and send them through ePoBox, Rwanda’s Virtual Post Office. Winners stand to receive full school fees for the upcoming academic year.
The competition, which runs until January 14, 2025, aims to combine the traditional art of letter writing with digital tools, promoting both creativity and technological skills. By using ePoBox, students will explore modern ways of communication while fostering deeper connections with their families.
Five winners from each province will be selected through a random prize draw. The prize includes tuition and related school costs for the 2025 academic year.
“We are excited to launch this competition as part of our ongoing efforts to promote digital literacy through our virtual post office services,” said IPOSITA’s Director General. “This initiative not only encourages students to embrace technology but also supports their education and helps them realize how technology can bring about positive change in their communities.”
IPOSITA has long been committed to advancing education and communication across Rwanda. With this latest initiative, the organization continues its efforts to empower the next generation with the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital world.
